Our Story

Millennium Restaurant Group is a locally owned and operated restaurant group with 7 full service dining restaurants, 2 catering facilities and growing. Millennium Restaurant Group was formed by a group of restaurateurs from the Kalamazoo, Michigan area in the year 2000. In creating MRG, the managing partners pooled as many resources, talent, and experienced personnel as possible to collaborate in the creation of a locally owned, professional restaurant group for professional restaurant people and that is still our mission today.

NOW HIRING for Tap House Brand Chef

We at Millennium Restaurant Group are excited to announce a brand new position, Tap House Brand Chef, created within the company due to our continuing growth, particularly in the Tap House Brand.  

Whether it is our edgiest on-trend menu item or a classic comfort food item, the Tap House Brand Chef will see that it is consistently delicious, prepared, and presented.  This will include oversite and responsibility for solid recipe creation, staff training and the insurance of 100% food safety.  At the Tap Houses, we make it our mission to set the standard for the new American pub and we’re looking for the right person to help us achieve that goal.

Benefits will include a competitive base salary, a weekly house account, 3 weeks paid vacation, and eligibility to enroll in Millennium Restaurant Group’s group coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits.

Qualifications:  Formal culinary education or substantial successful work experience equivalent, 5+ years of full service management experience, professionalism, and proven ability to execute The Tap House menu with the integrity and quality as defined by Millennium Restaurant Group.  Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel, electronic calendars, and email, ability to work irregular schedules; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, enjoy being around and working with fun loving people, a true spirit of hospitality, and a passion for the culinary arts.
